If Ferrari left F1 I would be devestated! It will probaly never happen so thank God. I remember when from 1991 until 1996 when Schumacher came Ferrari struggled to win races. They won nothing from 1991 to 1993 and won one race in both 1994 and 1995. It was depressing and I can't imagine how F1 would be without Ferrari and how I would feel. I would probaly have to walk away from F1 if Ferrari ever pulled out as I wouldn't be able to handle it.

Formula One did just fine when Ferrari didn't win diddly squat. In fact, the era of McLaren and Williams domination from the early 1980s to late(ish) 1990s was a time the sport became massively popular, hugely wealthy and was most exciting.

Yes, Formula One would be worse off and totally lack something if Ferrari left, but so long as they weren't a top team, their demise wouldn't be the death knell for the sport.

No team is bigger than the sport and no driver is bigger than the team.

If Ferrari, or McLaren, were to leave the sport they would be forgotten within a season. True AKR may have some kind of breakdown, but normal people would get on with life. Lotus dominated the sport not so long ago and now they dont exist, who misses them now?

It would be great if the teams were closer in competitiveness, so you really didn't know who of 20 or so cars would win each race, but the way the FIA is pursuing that goal is utterly ludicrous.

Yeah, absolutely serious. I've been around long enough to see many teams come and go - the sport goes on.

I think that I have been paying attention. I know that Ferrari fans, more than other team supporters, seem to think that the F1 world revolves around Ferrari but it absolutely does not. ( I accept that the FIA revolves around Ferrari but that's another story) Wait until Ferrari have 3 or 4 lean seasons and see how many supporters will be left. Of course the hard core tifosi like AKR will still be around but the level of supporters for any team depends upon that teams ability to win. If that team leaves the sport most will find another team. Some may give up F1 but I find that a bit sad.
Why is it that Ferrari and McLaren have the most supporters? Because they are most likely to win. If BMW or RB or Honda win this years WCT their numbers of supporters will go up, and most of those new supporters will have come from supporting other teams - probably Ferrari or McL.

I miss everyone personaly because each team added their own mistique to F1. There are alot of team's on that list that even I dont recognized but I know know who the biggest contributor's are to F1 as a whole and who has kept it alive.
