In all seriousness, Im not saying you are a complete loon. I wouldnt be surprised if some of what you are trying to imply is true. However thats my issue with you...

You never come outright, and state in plain English what it is the f*** you are talking about, or any evidence to back that up - you just talk in riddles and half secentences and you merely TRY to imply things without ever actaully saying anything. You talk of 'certain someone' and 'the voices' etc. If you truely believe in something, try and man up and name people. If you are worried about talking about taboo users, or incidents, then dont bother bringing it up.

All the above kinda proves to me that you actaullay have nothing to say, and are just trying to sound far more intelligent and 'in the know' than you actually are.

That's funny. You know, that "trying to sound far more intelligent . . . than you actually are" critique was one of the first I heard upon joining another forum last year, so . . . nothing original there. But, at least in my favor, you're "kinda prov[ing]" to me that you've been a little knocked off balance (not that I had any intention of doing such a thing).

As to the way I express myself, I think that has something to do with having been a lawyer in a previous life, so that explains the way I use language. Couldn't change it now if I wanted to. No apologies or explanations forthcoming on that point.

As far as being "in the know," I never have, nor do I now, claim such a thing. Common sense and powers of observation will do nicely, thank you.

And please don't mistake anything I say for animosity or ill will. There's enough of that in the world. Peace and love is where it's at.

Hamilton wants to test the car at the coming Mugello test rather than leave it to the test drivers as was planned. He says he wants to find out why the pace is there for quali and drops so much for the race.

Psst... hey, while no one's looking and I won't repeat a word of it, can you confirm a suspicion of mine? I believe that in your 3rd year of law school, there's a mandatory course entitled; Straddling The Line Between Confidence And Arrogance.

That's a good one, very perceptive. But I think in my case it was more like, "this profession turns most people into a** holes, so try not to become one. . . ."

Arrogance (or a**holery), is a line I never want to cross. If I do (or have), I'm counting on you guys to straighten me out.

I actually wish I had become a teacher, or a musician. It's never too late, though, I think.

But in any event, we are all here for the same reason, right? Because we love LH. Btw, does anyone think LH is being a bit of an a**hole because he doesn't know what his crew are assigned to do? That struck me as kind of strange. I know he's busy, but . . . .

I think it's not up to the driver to know what each individual member of the team is assigned to do or not. We're not talking about 3 or four guys, there's dozens of people involved all hovering around the car and all of them more than likely wear multiple hats. I'd rather know a driver is focused solely on driving and providing feedback to his engineers as to what the car is doing or not doing, than knowing what everyone's role is or isn't.

If nothing else, he's remained calm, consistent and very much in control at all times. The biggest outward act of frustration we've seen from Lewis this year is shaking his head during the pit stop so I think the guy is making a concerted effort to stay focused.

This I totally agree with. I am really hoping he meant he didnt know which gun engineer was on that wheel. And when someone says 'It was Bob', he'd be like 'Oh, ok, I'll give him a call, I really like bob'.

Just becausae you are the multi-million pound paid engineer, doesnt mean you shouldn't know the whole team. I bet they all know each other. I work with around 40 people directly within my company, and know them all by name - its not hard, esp seeing as how long he has been there!

They're faceless for the most part, with helmets and goggles it's difficult to tell one from the other, given the fact that they have multiple jobs yeah, it's not out of the real of possibility. There's too much nit picking and micro analyzing of minutia that in the grand scheme of things means squat. So what if he didn't know who the guy was, we're not privy to whether or not they went out for a beer later, or Lewis let the guy look at naked pictures of Nicole to cheer him up or whatever.

To leave the testing to the test drivers in the middle of the season is a bad idea. Lewis and Jenson have a better understanding of the car and will be able to give a better evaluation of the performance of the new parts. The test drivers may have different preferences for the balance and feel of the car than the drivers, so their test results may not be ideal for the drivers.

Besides, McLaren have 2 great drivers at the moment, so there is no need to go fishing for new talent with the test drivers anyway. If Lewis wants to do the test, I sincerely hope McLaren lets it happen.

Firstly, I'm surprised McLaren or any other team for that matter would let such an important test fall on the hands of test drivers. Don't they have different driving styles, feedback? What if they move the car's direction differently from where the race drivers want it to go? Sometimes I can't comprehend how some of these teams operate to be honest.
