Johnny Herbet has just said it was clearly Nico's faulton both incidents . Even more so on the Lewis incident because Lewis was alongside him(Alonso was a` bit further back). He says you cannot just run drivers off the road.

Yeah, to be honest Rosberg deserved a drive through today. Hope he gets a 5 grid penalty for the next race, sheer stupidity (which I never expected from him) and his whining over the radio just pissed me off.

I guess some unfortunate souls has got to support him :D .

Seriously though, it was a great drive from Vettel, he controlled the race once he built a 3 second gab to Hamilton. Had one minor scare from Kimi but after that, looked the one who would win. Managed the tyres very well.

I still think that if Kimi had pitted earlier, he would have gotten past him after the pitstops, and Vettel would struggle to get past him with the lack of fuel he had.

Easy to say in hindsight though. Well done Vettel.

Well, the things are still to be decided about Rosberg and Hamilton/Alonso. He did push them to the far side, but Hamilton used the area out of the track to overtake him... IMO, if they are to punish anyone here, they should only give him/them a reprimand.

Your opinion is wrong. If you look at the replays, Hamilton is still righ alongside Nico when he comes back onto the track. He doesnt actually overtake until nearing the next corner, when they are both full on the track.....

Had to run out soon after the race this morning... got a lot of time to sulk before posting here. I was embarrassed for McLaren today. But that out of the way, 2012 is holing its end of the bargain for being as unpredictable as last year was predictable and I'm glad about that.

I think the better question is - who acutally likes Vettel? :hehe:

Me, Vlad and Big Azza. You got issue with that newbie?

:D

Me 2 :)

Like OMG, the queens speaks in support of a driver. Must be on an earth day high.

This year sure is crazy!
@LRW, it's also called gaining an advantage... But, IMO, Rosberg is getting 5 grid slots penalty for Barcelona. Deserved.
#300836
Surely we'd have heard by now if Rosberg was getting any further steward action?

Serious!? BANG 1 medal for the stewards this season!

What on earth are the stewards thinking.

NO action taken against Rosberg. How many people were moaning when Schumacher did the same to Rubens at Hungary the other year, yet Rosberg puts Hamilton FOUR wheels off the track and gets nothing!!!!!!!!!

Think Rosberg is very lucky. Don't normally think Hamilton has been unfairly treated, but had he (or Schumacher) done that, I doubt the outcome would be the same.

On the race, Vettel did what he did in 2011, but Kimi is my driver of the day, with Di Resta and Vettel also driving excellent races. Grosjean was solid in 3rd, but why was Webber so far off the pace?

Alonso in the points again, damage limitation certainly working for him at the moment.

HE gained an advantage by going off the track, taking a longer line, onto the sandy surface? Are you for real?

He was faster than Rosberg and was going to overtake. Rosberg refused to leave the one cars gap he was meant to, and should be penalised for it. He went on and did almost the same thing with Alonso, on the same corner...!!
