I think a lot of the violence surrounding the Grand Prix is not as it seems and has been very built-up by the media. The un-rest is real but not enough to damage the Grand Prix severely in my opinion.

We'll find out in less than a week, but unless one or all of the teams' boats are sank, planes shot down or someone of note is assassinated, OR the entire circuit is blown up then I think that all of the worrying was for nothing.

Not sure how many if you saw this, but...

Man, Bernie is such an asshole. I knew he was a bitter old man, but the way he treated this Sky reporter is simply inexcusable. what a douche.

I think he handled it perfectly.

That was the most stupid question that reporter could've asked. You're asking Mr. F1, Bernie Eccelstone if he's going to one of the most important Grands Prix in a long time? Just as Bernie said, a stupid question.

Asking that question to Bernie is like going up to Stefano Dominicalli and asking him if he's going to the Bahrain Grand Prix. OBVIOUSLY he's going.

It seemed as if she could'nt handle Bernie's quick-fire answers and was just clutching at straws as to what to ask next. If that reporter wants to see how to properly interview Mr. Ecclestone, she should watch Martin Brundle interviewing Bernie on the grid just before the race.

How misogynistic of you to say that!

Nah, I agree with what you're saying. I've seen this clip elsewhere and the general consensus is that the reporter asked a stupid question and was given a suitably appropriate answer.

Despite being a Hamilton fan you're on the money with this too chief.

Ultimately, if it wasn't safe the teams wouldn't go and the race would be called off.

We have 6 World Champions on the grid so why not let all of them win within the first 7 races? I'm sure Bernie could make this happen. :p

Button won in Australia.
Alonso won in Malaysia.
Rosberg won in China.
Schumacher to win in Bahrain.
Vettel to win in Spain.
Hamilton to win in Monaco.
Raikkonen to win in Canada.

Nice idea, but, I think that Hamilton will take Barcelona and Vettel Monaco...

It's difficult taking Monaco without being on pole. More likely another Rosberg win. :hehe:

I can't recall but didn't they ban DRS at Monaco last year?

I know there was talk of it but I don't remember it being banned... maybe it was used in the tunnel?

I just googled it, it was banned only in the tunnel.

I chuckle when I google something F1 related and it points me back to our forum.
