WHAT A :censored: RACE!!!!!!!! for hamilton!!! Loads of passing and all incident free!! And I'm elated that webber passed vettel on the 2nd to last lap :twisted::twisted:

That was totally unbelievable seeing 7+ cars all along the back straight at the same time fighting for position.....incredible. This season already seemed like it was going to be a nailbiter with how close qualifying was in australia, but HOLY :censored: if this race is any indication of the rest of the season I think we're going to see the championship go down to the last 1-2 races!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Idk how I was able to suppress my mirth so as to not wake up anybody in the house :banghead: it's actually quite frustrating holding it all in!!

BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA WEBBER OUTQUALIFIED AND OUTRACED VETTEL WHAT WHAT DON'T MAKE EXCUSES ABOUT TIRES WHEN WEBBER STOPPED ON LAP 7 FOR HIS FIRST SWITCH....BE MAD HOMIES!!!!

Why don't you rewind a few corners before this moment...and see what Vettel did on the back straight? He was on the left side of the track, swerved right almost running Hamilton off the road, and then swerved back into the racing line at the braking zone. This was attempting to BLOCK. He made two moves on the straight.

If you tell me to which exact second I should rewind, I'll have a look. But whether or not Vettel also illegally blocked does not in any way say anything about whether Hamilton's moves were illegal.

Hamilton's moves while vettel was on him were kind of suspect, but i don't care cuz :censored: vettel :rofl::rofl: and I loved how webber came right up behind them and almost made that pass on the inside into turn one!!! WOW!!

Well, at least the next race is only one week away this time. . .

 Indeed!! Lucky for you guys it means that myself, andrew, and leweng won't be so prone to late night thread spam and derailment, at least for this week :rofl::rofl:

I think credit has to go out to every driver out there today. With so much wheel to wheel racing,so many overtakes.3 abreast on a few occasions.Yet the only DNF was due to an error witha wheel nut.

Big thumbs up to 2012 it's looking like it could be the best year I've seen for a long time if it continues in this way.

 was just browsing through the pages and saw this. Absolutely fantastic racing from everybody (although that perez/kobayashi thing on the back straight was a tad bit sketchy :P). I slammed on the imaginary brake when they showed the on board replay of senna( or maldo?) almost slamming into the back of massa at the start of the race  That sh*t looked like I was right there on the 1080p big screen tv!!!!! But great racing from everybody on the grid.

I think the back markers deserve some praise too. They made themselves pretty much nonexistent during all the chaos. No "cucumbers" were on the grid in china :hehe:

The one move rule is for blocking someone trying to overtake, then returning to the racing line. Similar to what we saw Schumacher do to Lewis in Italia last year.
Vettel did not try and make a pass on Lewis, he was right on his gear box in tow following him. Lewis did not block Vettel as you can see below, it might have looked wrong but in fact it wasn't. Lewis never blocked Vettel then moved back to his line. As I said earlier there were far worse examples of the one move rule being broken, Vettel just before on Lewis was a prime example he clearly blocked Lewis then moved back onto the racing line Perez on his team mate was very bad, trying to force another driver off track is against the law also.
The letter of the law means you pick your braking point and line you stick to it whether that be in defence or not. But its clear that the race director is allowing a defensive move i.e. blocking a pass then moving back onto the racing line as we have seen it happen in every race this season.

Article 20.3 reads: “More than one change of direction to defend a position is not permitted. Any driver moving back towards the racing line, having earlier defended his position off‐line, should leave at least one car width between his own car and the edge of the track on the approach to the corner.”
