Aww I just love how action-packed the second half of the Chinese GP was today! :D I keeping watching the short highlights video the BBC have put up on their website...

And now I'm going to watch the hour-long highlights show on BBC2 at 7pm! Good times! :cloud9:

...so maybe he should replace Hill.

I'd be fine with that. Hill is just too... meh. I thought he'd bring much more insight and personality than he has so far. And with Herbert being a steward, it makes him even more insightful, I think. Especially for when tricky stewarding situations come up in the future. Wasn't a big deal for this race, though.

Just sat through the last part of the race again. It was four something this morning and I had the volume low so as not to wake anyone. This time around I blasted it and let the race unfold before me once again from the 14 laps to go mark. It was unbelievable, best race of the year candidate for sure. Great battles for position the entire time! Kimi lost 12 spots in less than three laps! That was tough to see. When the Pirellis go, they GO. Vettle passing Kimi for second seems to have taken whatever life his tires had left, then seeing him being passed first by Button, and then the battle with Hamilton, then Webber getting into the mix... it was non stop action till the end.

What a great race, this season is going to be a classic, three races, three different winners, I would have never predicted Rosberg would have actually won given Mercedes tendency to go backwards in the race. I'm happy to see Jenson Button secure second place and that Vettel got bumped back to fifth in the final few laps, I particularly enjoyed Webber's pass on Vettel!

Yes. I liked Webbers pass on vettel, Kindov ...sweeeet. And I'm delighted Nicco won.

Hamilton weaving as usual - oh ffs - its called breaking the tow...

Whatever you want to call it, it's not allowed any more.

Well, apparantly it was fine :D

Have a look on BBC IPlayer. From 2:37:10. You'll see Hamilton move to his left, then move to his right, then move back to the left to regain the racing line for the corner.

He made one move while in the braking zone, that's the rule so it was fine. There were far worse defensive moves by other drivers through out the race but as usual Lewis gets picked on

Vettels tyres were on the turn when he suddenly went backwards. They were about 3 laps older than Webbers.

Vettel did a great job to hold on as long as he did.

Why don't you rewind a few corners before this moment...and see what Vettel did on the back straight? He was on the left side of the track, swerved right almost running Hamilton off the road, and then swerved back into the racing line at the braking zone. This was attempting to BLOCK. He made two moves on the straight.

Hamilton was attempting to break the tow. This was two moves as well, from right to left, and then right again to take the 1st corner. Vettel was in no way blocked, just forced to take the long way round.

If anyone deserved a drive through, Vettel was closest to it. Not that I'm saying he deserves one, but Hamilton was less aggressive even compared to Vettel.

No, it's not the rule. From the sporting regulations:

20.3 More than one change of direction to defend a position is not permitted. Any driver moving back towards the racing line, having earlier defended his position off‐line, should leave at least one car width between his own car and the edge of the track on the approach to the corner.

Explained further by the BBC here. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/16416932

If there are "worse" defensive moves, you're perfectly at liberty to list them. But that doesn't excuse Hamilton.
