You know what, the car may have similarities with other F1 cars (past and present) including McLaren but the difference is that the FERRARI IS DIVINE  hehehehehehehehehehe

I now bow to this new beast of a Ferrari of 2008, pretty or uglier than its predecesor as its thou Holy Worpshiness......

Through Him in Him and with Him
In the unity of the Holy Ferrari............

You cannot pray to any of the other team cars because they are not Saint worthy like Ferrari, especially McLaren. *LOL*

New Ferrari set for big aero update

By Michele Lostia and Jonathan Noble Thursday, February 7th 2008, 11:47 GMT

Ferrari look set to introduce a major aerodynamic update for their F2008 at the Barcelona test session later this month, although the team are unsure if it will make their current car any quicker.

With the Maranello-based team's new challenger having emerged as the pace-setter in early testing, the team are already confident about their preparations for the new season.

However, a big update, including wings, bargeboards and engine cover, is planned for the Circuit de Catalunya test from February 19.

Ferrari's team manager Luca Baldisserri told Gazzetta dello Sport: "It's true that the aerodynamics used here is not the definitive one for the first GP. But, having seen the results, it's not a given that what we will try at Montmelo, in the last tests before Australia, will bring better performance."

A report in Italian magazine Autosprint has suggested that one of the new concepts that will be tried out by Ferrari is an opening on top of the nose - between where the current Fiat and Martini logos are.

Red Bull Racing technical director Geoff Willis believes the open nose concept would help improve air flow at the front of the car.

"Well, it's an interesting idea," he told Autosprint. "Its function is probably to use the central part of the front wing in a better way.

"You see, the way they're designed, the wings generate an area of very high pressure at that point. If you have an opening on the nose you can alleviate that pressure by letting the air get off upwards."

i like single/dual colour cars, if the mclaren didnt have the vodafone on it it would look better, ie pure chrome

Raikkonen hails 'fantastic' F2008
Monday, 01, January, 0001, 00:00

Kimi Raikkonen has hailed the performance of the new Ferrari F2008 after three days of blistering form in Bahrain – predicting the challenger has the potential to go even faster.

The Maranello-based squad’s latest design completed a highly impressive test at Sakhir, with Raikkonen setting the pace on all three days with a best lap time that was over two seconds faster than the benchmark set during last year’s race weekend.

A buoyant world champion says the F2008 worked “perfectlyâ€

Italian lawyer to quiz McLaren top brass
Thursday, 07, February, 2008, 14:48

McLaren has confirmed that high-ranking members of its management have been invited by Italian magistrates to answer questions regarding the spy scandal that rocked Formula 1 last summer.

While the FIA ended its involvement in the matter when McLaren publicly apologised for possessing confidential Ferrari information last December, the Italian team has continued to pursue its own legal case over the affair in both England and Italy.

Now McLaren's legal team has been informed that Giuseppe Tibis, the Modena magistrate leading the investigation, wishes to question team principal Ron Dennis and the company's CEO Martin Whitmarsh over the scandal on February 18.

McLaren is now reviewing the request to grant Tibis access to the team's top brass.

Former McLaren driver Fernando Alonso and the team's current test driver Pedro de la Rosa have already been interviewed by Tibis as 'informed parties' last October.

The scandal first broke at the British Grand Prix last July when it emerged that former Ferrari employee Nigel Stepney was alleged to have provided McLaren's then technical director Mike Coughlin with a 780-page confidential dossier containing technical information about Ferrari's F2007 car.

Stepney, Coughlin and McLaren's engineering director Paddy Lowe have also been called to answer questions on the matter in two weeks' time.

The FIA found McLaren guilty of breaching F1's sporting regulations in its own investigation last September.

The team was handed a fine of more than £50m and was struck from the 2007 constructors' championship
