I think she meant depriving their driver fighting for the win, due to incompetence.

I did. Thanks.

Man, I've been reading back through this thread, and the question that occurs to me is: WHY DO SO MANY HATERS HANG OUTIN HERE ???!!!

I honestly believe that many folks are threatened by Lewis for some reason, and not just because he is super fast on the race track. I think, just my opinion, that some folks' world view is turned upside down by his emergence, and I think a lot of those folks actually work for a certain team in F1, to be brutally honest about it. (Let's guess -- how long 'til the corporatists show up?)
:yikes::wavey:

And I think the same thing is going on in here, for some unknown, indecipherable reason. . . . :confused:8-)

But don't mind my ramblings. I like the intellectual challenge of trying to figure out just exactly what is going on. . . . :hehe:

Nothing much to think about, Haters hang out here because Lewis is always in their mind like it or not. Their prevalent existence in this thread simply proves the sheer popularity of the best driver on the grid today.

Some excellent points here. I also like to figure out what is going on. What amazes me is the amount of people that wont even accept there are questions to be asked. In this F1 world where the most bizare things happen (who belived Briatore asked/condonned Nelson Piquet to crash before Nelson revealed it? Who would have believed Max Mosely would be caught wearing a Nazzi uniform with his pants down being whipped before they saw it in the paper?)And yet they refuse to even ask questions about the situation at McLaren.Just ask questioins, thats all.

Maybe if you took your blinkers off you'd see there is no need to ask questions. Maybe just maybe there's the answer youre looking for.

Why is he the best?

Because he can only be beaten (especially when its by his team mate) when his team that he's been involved with since he was a wee boy deliberately cause his fortunes to fail for what logic I fail to see. But to fully understand this claim just ask Racechick and her merry fanboys. :hehe:

It's on now, racechick is in the house! I said I wasn't going to say much in this forum, so as not to intrude. But these folks have just gone crazy in here! Mad crazy! Those two poles have driven them over the edge.

You dont really need to do much in the Hamilton thread to drive people crazy. Mention McLarens' stategy needs a closer look...wind 'em up and watch 'em go!!
Then its 'fanboys', 'blinkers' etc....Oh, hang on..they mean me :yikes:

"Boys," . . . grow into men. Then the whole dynamic changes. It goes from: "Well he is a cute, undeniably talented little fellow," to, "Is this really a good idea, do we have any other options?"

If any team would get fully on board with Lewis, whether it be McLaren, Ferrari, Red Bull, perhaps even Mercedes, then we -- as F1 fans first and foremost -- would have that rare opportunity to witness a virtuoso at the top of his game, and perhaps, we might see a bundle of history making moments, instead of wondering after every race: "Why did that happen?" "What were they thinking?" "Wasn't Lewis in position to have a better finish that that?" And on and on and on and on. But I guess some people like it that way?

Are you suggesting Lewis needs preferential treatment to be able to win? Sounds like it to me.
But take Australia for example I guess the team made his start poor and then Jenson pulling away from him was down to the team also? The main problem with Hamilton fans is they think he is unbeatable, especially if its by Jenson. So when Jenson does beat him they like to look for reasons other than Jenson was just simply faster on the day.

I do understand why some F1fans find Lewis fans annoying, I think the same can be said of any drivers fanboys but with Lewis fans the stink of conspiracies when ever he loses just makes you all look like bad sports.

As for my own opinion on Hamilton, I hope he wins the championship this year but at the same time I know he isn't a god, he does make mistakes something he's done since his first year. Once he irons out his mistakes he might be unbeatable but until then there's going to be an air of uncertainty.
