Would you prefer this?

Or do you want to go back to seeing more of this?

I know which one I'd prefer... :P

I'd prefer the first pic...it basically means Wunderbread isn't doing so great on track.

I sure don't wish bad things to happen to any drivers, can't say for some other people.

The vegetable changes depending on what site you read the story on, Forumula1.com is reporting it as a cucumber...

I have seen that cucumber in several sites too including a Turkish site.We use two words for the vegetable cucumber, one of them also means something like jerk.So they used that word with two meanings. But I think what Vettel tried to say was different though :D

I read that he used the word gherkin when speaking to a German reporter. This apparently is a term used there to describe slow road users. Presumably it was then translated to cucumber.

There is no real distinction between cucumber and gherkin in German - both are called 'Gurke' (the Germanic word related to the 'gherkin'). Cucumber is the Latin (cucumer)/French(cucumbre) word introduced into English later on. A nice example to illustrate how English is simply a Germanic language cross dressing as a Romance language.

SV probably used 'Gurke' in his interview with the German press - the verb 'rumgurken' (basically 'gherking around') is slang for going slow and getting nowhere.

Awesome post Big Azza.

NK has been a pain in the butt to many drivers. Not only the Button and Vettel incidents, but I also believe I saw him holding up a few cars during Quali while they were on hot laps.

That being said, Vettel is the WDC and he should be held to a higher standard of decorum. Having a tantrum and throwing the finger all over the place may be fun for us to watch and talk about, but it isn't how the sport is supposed to be represented.

What? NK was totally in the clear and not to blame for that incident. They were fighting for position and JB drove into NK.

Scapegoat search. Like them or not, they've done everything required by the FIA to be in the race.

My thoughts:

- The incident was NK's fault, if you have doubts, look at all the footage...onboards and off boards
- SV shouldn't slam the "idiot" or "cucumber" like that in public
- NK wasn't exactly that professional anyway by hitting back at SV
- Lapped cars should move out of the way
