I like Lewis. But a fellow fan in TW has taken this to a whole new level....a bit extreme though.... (People in Taiwan aren't too fond of Lewis...:p)

Woohoo! Just found out Lewis has surpassed Alonso in pole position race.:whip:

9 to go to get Vettel though.

Clearly. Its 67 pages long.

I thought maybe Narain Karthikeyan need this kind of thread more than LH.

Last time I checked, LH is still a better driver than NK. Or am I mistaken?

Then open one and see if it runs for 67pages

I don't think Hamilton is checking in on this thread looking at our posts here. It's a thread for Hamilton FANS. So wtf are you doing here? :)

BTW:

"It was just a very eventful race, trying to find the right time to change from extreme [wet] tyres to intermediates, we were probably a bit late with that, and then going on to slicks ... making that call, it's [about] whether you take the risk or not. The others went a bit earlier and we lost a bit of time through our pit stops with a couple of problems, I think I had a problem with my right rear on one of the pit stops and then a right front [on another pit stop]. I was kind of out of the fight, and trying to close a 15 second or 12 second gap was pretty tough.

"But I can't complain. I think the car has been good all weekend and the team continue to do a good job and I'm on the podium again, which is my target, to have consistency. I can't for the life of me figure out how I did it in 2007 so I'm trying to repeat that."

Very telling huh? In 2011 he seemed to go all out for wins (as WDC was a byebye) but good change in mentality for 2012. A balanced approach which will pay of in the end I believe.

Lewis should be content with the outcome today. I mean... look at the bloody result! Crazy! And that's what happens when the rain pours, and the races go wild.

The two chaps who did excellently to finish ahead of Lewis today, will probably have little effect on the battle for the title, so Lewis can be contented with the fact that he seems to be in a good place at the moment.

I think he needs to be a little concerned at what's going on around pitstops.

McLaren were a mess with pitstops today for both drivers. Lewis with rear right on his first stop, and front left with the second. I believe Button had a lengthy delay in the pits after his collision, problem with a tyre way after the front wing was already in place.

Meh, McLaren aren't the only team that make mistakes. However, should the team do so much as leave a speck of dust on the car, they are slammed. :(

Same way as Nadal or Federer gets slammed when they miss a simple forehand/backhand. Great things expected from great teams.

Why was Button pitted first everytime? Especially the last one when he was out of it? Lewis lost 10 seonds there!!

Maybe Lewis wanted to stay out longer for a bit, who knows. It wasn't the best of days for McLaren, but at least they can remain confident that they've got the fastest car. Hopefully, this will still be the case in three weeks time!
