Spent the day in NYC went to a meet & greet at my daughter's university, had great pizza and spent an hour chatting to a sales girl at a Vera Wang shop as my daughter tried on dresses that dad's never going to buy but her adopted gay uncle is convincing her she should. All I could think about is my car set up for tomorrow and how to adjust the tires since there are T-storms forecasted all day. How do the guys on the grid do it? :hehe:

Went to a mall to eat lunch at around 11:30 AM. After lunch, I went to my niece's place because today is the 40th day since my sister passed away(Catholics will most likely know what I'm talking about)....Spent pretty much the whole day there so I ended up watching the malaysian grand prix in my niece's room.....

I just realised how thin I've gotten over the past while that I've been doing quite a phyiscal job and working shifts that mean I have days where I can't really eat what I'd call a proper meal. Ah well, as long as I don't end up being 8 stone something again. :hehe:

Off work for this week. Hurray!!

Back visiting my parents at the moment. Missed the bus yesterday so I had to lull around the dreary bus station with all the glamorous junkies for two hours. I ate a twister ice-cream and read Breakfast of Champions to pass the time.

I love being home. And the weather is unreal. Good few days so far.

Today's Google is Mies van der Rohe, he's best known as an architect but I'm a big fan of his furniture designs.

Today I have spent the day tweaking my new Pioneer surround speaker package (SP-FS51-LR, SP-C21, SP-BS21-LR) with my old Onkyo 130w subwoofer. It sounds good but I'll never be 100% happy with the sound, guess I was spoiled when I was a sound engineer, having 10s of thousands of pounds worth of kit to tune the sound within an inch of it's life...

Anyone know where I can get a 31 band software EQ for Windows directsound? so I can tweak my HTPC sound more to my liking!
