I was a big admirer of Enzo Ferrari and did a lot for Formula One. He was Ferrari and what people imagine Ferrari to be about, not the way things have turned at Maranello since he wound down his responsibilities in running the company and his death. However, in Formula One, the statistics speak for themselves. If you discount the 1999 Ferrari-FIA screw job and the doubts about who really won the 2007 title, Ferrari had one more title in Enzo's lifetime than Ron Dennis thus far. Then, look at race wins. Ron Dennis has seen McLaren win more races than Enzo did at Ferrari. Just because Enzo Ferrari is dead, doesn't mean his achievements cannot be surpassed by others. The highest compliment you can give to any team boss is to compare him to Enzo Ferrari. In my view, Ron Dennis, Colin Chapman and Sir Frank Williams' names are not unfair comparisons to Enzo Ferrari.
