Lewis on whether he resigns for McLaren -"My decision will be based on more than just the car. When you make a decision on your future it's the whole package." What a telling statement!!

And Coulthards thoughts on the situation-"Of course, we only know what Mclaren tell us. There might be another story going on within the team that we dont now about that explains the pace gap between the two. Look at Lewis' face on the podium and in interviews; he wasnt happy to finnish third, but was that because he lost second in the stops, or becuse Jenson beat him? we just dont know"

Not just mad Racechick speculating any more.

:(

Well if he moves to Redbull I can still support him.

If he moves to Lotus on the other hand......partnering Kimi, oh man....I could finally have another 'dream team' since DC and Kimi.

No just general mad speculation, Lewis underperformed and Jenson was on top of his game. When you spend as long as Lewis has being told how he's the best driver in the sport, how do you expect him to act when he starts the season where he left off, 2nd fiddle to Jenson. It's early days, but all it says to me at the moment is Lewis did not expect to have such a challenge from Button.

Exactly, I think DC is trying to make a story out of nothing. Lewis was being sooky because he had Pole but finished 3rd and his team mate won! Do you expect him to be grinning from ear to ear? No! If he was happy with finishing 3rd from Pole he shouldn't be racing.

why is there no speculation when Lewis beats Jenson? I just don't get it only works one way, it's like people cannot comprehend that Jenson beating Lewis fairly is possible. Its f***ing annoying!

Sad, but true. And also very tiresome.

Hi all. I've been reading this forum with interest for a while now. I don't imagine I'll have much to add, you all certainly have everything under control here.

"Lewis is the best I've ever seen . . . ."

Exactly +1. Jenson said before the race that you're not a proper racing driver if you go into a race not expecting to win. Every driver on the grid should go into a race with the objective of winning.

Even the Horrifically Rubbish Team - HRT.
