I do not think that it is a failure, far from that. But I know that Red Bull is equally good as McLaren. Not currently, because of FIA, but it will be there in race or two.

:hehe: First worry about Mercedes and Renault.

Come on, you really think that they will be only this strong? You really underestimate the champions.

And this is why Fanboys such as yourself REALLY frustrate me. :banghead:

I am a McLaren fan. I am happy they have done well in the first race. However, I know there is no certanty that it will stay this way, and I realise there is a slight possibility that other teams may catch up or, God forbid, overtake us.

But people like you who cannot see what is infront of them, cannot even comprehend the fact their team may have a weakness, really spoil this sort of Froum. Its what turns 'discussions' into 'arguments' - you really need to wake up, and stop being so blinded by your love for your team.

At this rate you will be worse than a Ferrari Fan......

It is too early to say McLaren is going to dominate this season, that is for sure. It reminds me of 2008 where they nearly had a 1-2 in Australia but had problems in Malaysia. But you can't be certain of anything. All I know is McLaren are a strong team over a season and the fact they have a strong platform to work on already encourages me greatly compared to the last few seasons, Not even 2010!

Redbull and their fans are already talking big based on the last two years after one race. Seems weird.

Back to the race:

Hopefully this is where we'll find out how close Lotus are to challenging for the championships, and a bit more from the Saubers too, Kobayashi did look quick in p3 and q1 last time out.

I think Redbull did under-perform slightly in qualifying last time and Mercedes will have it slightly easier with tyre wear, they might be able to make some setup changes?

I expect Ferrari to gamble massively on a wet-set up, they have very little to lose with the car in its current state.

Lewis to take pole, in an angry fashion and he'll immediately be talking about how he's looking towards the race.

Button second, followed by Kimi, Schumacher.

That's assume a dry qualifying, I'm not making predictions if it rains. Hopefully it won't be a safety car race though.

Not looking good weather wise. Especially seeing as the race and Qualifying are on at 4pm local time or should i say rain time in the tropics...

Yep, that's when it pours like a b*tch. In today's F1, I fear Mercedes will have a field day advertizing their latest sports sedan, complete with flashy lights and all.

There was once a point in my years watching F1 that rain would be a very exciting prospect, but now all I really fear is safety cars and red flags :( Here's hoping for an exciting race like Canada!

Jenson should be in with a good shout of winning in the rain; but there are a number of drivers that excel in the rain but Jenson seems to be the specialist in recent seasons.

When he bumps Hamilton out of contention.

I see that Hamilton fans really like my posts.

Vlad, perhaps you should go back and read your posts after Melbourne from 2011, they might make you feel better.

You forgot Alonso! Jenson expertly bumped out 2 drivers in one race to clinch victory.

Jenson was just taking his cues from Lewis' drive in Monaco! ;)
