Alonso is back testing for Renault with last year's car and topped the timesheets ahead of several teams with their 08 cars and their regular driver configuration. This doesn't mean a hell of a lot; but I guess it ok for some early predictions and speculation... and of course the ussual death wishes from Lewis and Ron Dennis' fans

Renault are not pumping as much money into Formula One as Ferrari, McLaren, BMW and others are. Also, other teams like Williams and Red Bull are threatening to improve a lot on last year. Renault may find it tough keeping up with the top and will have to watch their backs as well, in my opinion anyway.

I predict a sooky squabble with Nelson Piquet Jnr just as Fern had with Lewis

as for the testing times hehe they mean little most likely a low fuel run to get the headlines for Renault and Alonso while other teams are working on their 08 cars components

Alonso, the hero who practically dobbed in McLaren and got them excluded and then also a hero for not getting along with Hamilton causing childish Hamilton to stuff up the last 2 races and allowing Kimi to win. Alonso should be acknowleged as the great one for all Ferrari fans. I hope he does well in 2008. If Ferrari cannot win then I support Alonso and Renault any day just like I did in 2005 when it came down to him and Renault and then Kimi and McLaren

alonso will get a couple of podiums but his time will be mostly taken up duckling up to flavio to make sure he is number 1

theyre not that bad, he is just trying to be abit moto with that carry on!

Renault will certainly increase their incomes due to signing Alonso and Piquet Jr. so they are likely to pump some cash, though this will probably be more noticeable later in the season...

As for Alonso, I expect to see him fighting for podiums with Lewis and the BMW boys. Wins? i'm not too sure, but if he does then I hope he returns to his human statues. They're funny.

I don't like most new helmet designs. The colours and designs are far too fancy. What's wrong with something more basic?
