You have to take into consideration the step nose employed in this season´s rules. You also have to take into consideration that Ferrari, the F150 more specifically, didn´t warm up the tyres as it should have and take into considration the placement of the exhausts also.
What I personally would have done is to use the F150 as a starting point, use the pull rod suspension in the back only, keep the push rod up front... lower the nose from the begining of the chassis, sort of like McLaren, Change the wheels to the OZ as they did this year and work on the aero.... The F2012 is just a waaaaaaay too radical approach... I reckon, with those changes done to the F150, they would have been set for this season! Ferrari´s step nose is just so anti-aerodyamic... It´s like a brick wall... they should have done something like Mercedes, Lotus or even Force India if they couldn´t go the McLaren route for the nose...
I just hope they can undo some things in order to get their sled up to speed!
