I still can't believe that Red Bull really couldn't put a lap together. Amazing performance from Grosjean! If Rosberg hadn't have locked-up, would he have been on pole? Hard luck for Kimi.

We can't read too much into this though. The first race quali doesn't represent the season.

No I totally agree. But it may make the Vettel followers sit up and contemplate that its possible that Vettel will not just walk this season, as some of them were predicting only a few days ago.....

Hopefully my sig represents the season. What I meant was he just went in the car and drove it to pole, like Vettel did 15 times last year.

It's SO satisfying to see the Red Bulls all the way back there, although, their KERS wasn't working.

Like I said, Grosjean is a real talent. Some of you were saying loudly against it.
McLaren just too strong, Mercedes too. Now we see why the rules were changed-red bull is sooo weakened. There just isn't enough grip in that car.


We'll see tomorrow, everything is possible.

Great lap from Lewis; but Jenson is not too far behind, should be an interesting start... the normally super-fast starting Alonso will need to have one hell of a start to lead into turn one... this qualifying session bodes well for the season, I'm really looking forward to watching the race tomorrow, being a JB fan, hoping for a Button win, but it'll be tough, Lewis looks in great form!

If Jenson gets a good start, he can get on the inside into turn 1. Could be crucial.
