Agreed. Was there any particular inspiration for this poll, headless?!?

I think it depends on the type of stairs too - I wouldn't like to try it on my stairs as they are very steep, nor would I like to attempt it on concrete stairs either.

Mine does, but then again, he's not the brightest cat in the world. He sometimes bombs down the stairs too quick, can't stop at the bottom and runs head-first into the wall with a loud *THUMP*.

I used to do this as a child - you can either crawl down, or start off on a duvet and glide - but you will pick up speed quickly!

I actually think headless started this thread to see who is the most gullable member to attempt it because he does not have the bollock's to try it himself!

My brother asked me if i could do it. So I went ahead and did it. At one point I did think I was going to fall and do a backflip, but I didn't and made it down the stairs safely.
He (11 years old) then tried, but chickend out.
So i have done it.
I wouldn't be so confident on a spiral stairs though. Or some proper old fasioned ones. With no carpet.
