As last year, write your predictions for the top ten finishers in each race, you get the number of points the driver gets for finishing in x position if your predictions match the actual finishing position! For example; you predict... 1. HAM 2. VET and 3. BUT and are the finishing positions are HAM, BUT and VET, you will earn 25 points as HAM is matched while the other two are not!

Sound simple enough? let the predictions begin...

Scores: http://f1pool.englishmaninkansas.com/ - I will input predictions into the scoring system as I am hosting it this season, all predictions need to be in before the start of the race.

Any one editing their post after the official race start time will be excluded from the current race pool, that goes for mods as well (who can edit without leaving a trail)

I think that I'm safe given we are just two days way from FP1 in Melbourne and Sennaville hasn't logged in since January 2nd...

Maybe we should make it more of a lottery; having to predict before the Qualifying session, it's much easier to predict once you know the starting positions!

Well how I thought it always was is you get some sort of bonus for getting your picks in early.

Like I think something like this:

+50% bonus for getting your picks in before the Grand Prix Weekend.
+20% bonus for getting your picks in after Friday Practice and before qualifying.

We can still decide on the percentages but we're running out of time!

No advantage for making your decision after qualifying. All points should be rounded up to the nearest half-point.

I.e. If you end up with 30.02 points, you get 30.5 (because you can't score 2% of a point, but it's unfair to take that 2% away from someone.)

This way you can have 2 types of players: The Lewis Hamilton gambler type or the Jenson Button no-risks approach!

Maybe we should make it more of a lottery; having to predict before the Qualifying session, it's much easier to predict once you know the starting positions!

Don't complicate things... go back and look at last years results and see how many goose eggs were sprinkled in in everyone's results even having the luxury of qualifying results, one bad pick could derail your entire chain! Basically though if you picked Vettel for 1st and Rosberg for 6th the entire year, I'm sure you'd have won.
