I'm in America and I have the SkyF1 channel streaming right now (watching the Williams Mechanics building their car), In 20 minutes, the channel launches, I'm really keen to see what Sky has to offer! But you do at minimum have to have a UK address and bank account, Sky will not let you subscribe with an overseas bank account and address. I am lucky in the fact that my father has the Sky full package so I am able to watch all the online streamed channels with the exception of ESPN, which I couldn't care less about!

Here in Turkey,we will ''probably'' have a channel which will broadcast F1,but we are trying to guess if it is probably or certainly. Also if certain which channel will it be.There are less than 2 weeks btw :wavey: If one of those options get F1,we will have to pay for the sports package for a year at a price of something like 20 Euros .We'd pay that ,but I hope another channel gets!

can I as someone who has no cable no dish, an american, pay for just sky for just F1 and cancel

No, if you're in the UK or Ireland you can get Sky go (online so no dish or anything) and pay monthly I think but you still have to pay for that and the extra for the sports channels package.

Sky Go only works if you have regular Sky.

The ONLY way you can watch this season on Sky is by getting the Sky Sports F1 HD channel, which is available to Sky customers with the HD Package and/or the Sky Sports Package. Plus, you have to be in the UK or Ireland anyway.

If you're really desperate for Sky's coverage, find an online stream or download the coverage.

from sky:
With a Sky Go Monthly Ticket you can enjoy great TV from Sky online or on the move without an annual contract or dish - you won't even need an engineer visit.

Watch up to 40 live channels - including all six Sky Sports, four Sky Movies, Sky Atlantic and more - plus hundreds of shows and movies on demand through your Xbox 360, laptop, PC or Fetch box.

If a foreign channel shows f1 on an unencrypted satellite signal you can pick it up with a satellite dish. I'm sure some European channels will be showing it (free to air).

I wasn't aware of the Sky Go Monthly Ticket. Thanks for clearing that up. :)

I love that massive touch screen they have on the wall. It's like futuristic technology but now!

The way the drivers walk up to the camera and cross their arms when they're selected is really cool. They should give us that same stuff on the Sky Sports F1 website or the Red Button! :)

That was a good show! 2 hours of preview to the coming season with some great pundits, presenters and technological tools.

I'm recording the Legends shows with Emerson and Jackie to watch later. I'll also record all but the race this weekend. I have work at 8am on Friday so I'll record FP1, FP2 and the F1 Show and watch them when I get home from work. I see my personal trainer on Saturday mornings so will record quali as well. Will have to avoid all news sources!!

Can't wait for the 16th!! :)

I'm just hoping that SKY do use the promised multi-feed & stats functionality online like they claimed in the preview programme!

This thread is making me angry/upset/depressed. We should set up a Streaming Thread were people can ask/give streams for shows. Or would that break forum rules? Links could be sent by PM...?

I think it is ridiculous  No way am i paying over £30 a month to sky just so i can watch the races :yikes: daylight robbery. We always watch the races and now we have nothing to watch...why get us all to pay this silly amount of money, to watch one programme, that's OK if you want all the football etc...but i cant stand football....everyone is needing to boycott them, they will soon get the message. :(
