I watched Lecce vs AC Milan (before the Utd vs City game). Lecce were up 3-0 in the first half. The Milan I saw play, who were they? Well in the second half the real Milan came out to come back and win 4-3. Awesome game and come back. So then I watched the EPL game and wow, 7 goals scored there too. And i loved the score even more as City demoloshed the SCUM 6-1 at home. Oh well if City become the new powerhouse of Manchester, all the glory seekers at United can quite easily jump ship. :hehe:

I've applied for the position. Should be announced soon.

Now I know very little about football (and am proud of the fact), but did he jump or was he pushed.

I hope he jumped, on his principles. I don't know how the FA can justify stripping JT of the captain's armband before he has had a trial. That's just plain wrong isn't it.

I think they were both looking for an excuse to separate. The F.A was getting loads of stick for Capello's wage, and him being generally unpopular with the public.

Capello was probably fed up of the whole media circus, he just wanted to choose his own captains and players on his own terms. Seems to be the sort of style he'd go for.

Some huge updates in football....

England manager sacked because he wants that toad posing as a human being 'Terry' to remain captain for England.

AVB sacked by the great Chelsea dictator...it's now been 8 managers in 9 years for the Lost Blues.

And finally, Manchester City think they can win the EPL this year.

Are you guys Liverpool supporters by any chance?

Or else you'd basically be in the subset of the population hating 'perfection at work'. :P

I am a Liverpool suppporter, guess you can't accuse me of being a glory hunter ;) although knocking United and City out of the FA Cup and Carling Cup respectively did make me deliriously happy!

If Manchester United are perfection, why are they not top of the league on maximum points then?

I knew that Q was coming up soon...well in the wonderful world of football, which is so imperfect in terms of the ins and outs....perfection can only work as well as it has so far - 19 league titles. :P

I'm sure Liverpool supporters had that pleasure of knocking out United in the other lesser competitions (some glory after all these years is justified)...but the champ19ns should be heading to their 20th this season! :P:whip:
