It will be interesting to see if JB's new found confidence can improve his general speed on track, there is no doubt that LH is the faster, more aggressive driver but Jenson showed a good turn of speed during the tail end of the season, something that we hadn't seen from Jenson prior with the exception of Canada. I think it will come down to this; if the McLaren drives like it's on rails, I believe JB will come out on top, if the car is more of a handful, I believe Lewis will come out on top, Lewis is much better at obtaining speed from a ill handling car!

I think overall Lewis is faster whether the cars on rails or not. Jenson seems to have the experience and smarts during races which is where he comes out on top. But I think if it's a car that's the fastest then I think Lewis would come out ontop.

I guess we'll find out in just under two weeks time, I am definitely biased towards Jenson, but last season he proved that he does have the speed when he needs it, I quite liked watching a more aggressive Jenson during and post Canadian GP, made a lot of people sit up and take notice. I really hope that Lewis is at his best again to really see if Jenson can beat him at his best!

Did you just say you liked in Jenson the one trait Lewis is routinely chastised for? That's like a Mormon having a beer for the first time and realizing he likes it.

You can be aggressive without crashing into every other moving object on the track... I have no issue with aggression, as the Pirelli ads used to say; "Power is nothing without control" ;)

kinda late, but here's my view. I'm personally a Jenson fan, but I voted for Lewis. I think the car will be much more competitive than last year, which will allow him to race more naturally rather than taking so many chances that backfire on him in the form of crashes and penalties. Hopefully that also means there will be a bigger buffer between him and Massa.

On the other hand, Jenson should be pretty comfortable within the team now, so who knows. Probably should have voted "impossible to predict".

Let's see what tune you sing when Massa makes Button his new target.

No idea.
But in general... Jenson has been improving, while Lewis has been... doing the opposite. So maybe this yr things will turn around and Lewis will be much improved....... who knows.

Already voted for Lewis. I think Martin 'lets talk about jenson' Whitmarsh might be disappointed this year, even if/when McLaren do well.

Let it go RC; it's been three months since the 2011 season ended, this is a whole new season... let's leave last season's baggage in last year, time to start a fresh!!!
