Err...I think Merc takes the cake for ugly. Looks like the Green Giant sh*t all over the front end....looks like a joke to me.

i see williams went on a different tyre strategy for their unveiling. good call, i think. never know how long those photo ops are gonna last.

They are indeed all truly hideous. To me all of the new cars (with the exception of the McLaren) look like someone put a F1 car into a car crusher which began crushing before someone shouted - 'WAIT - they don't want them crushed anymore' - and it's the half crushed and deformed remains we're going to have on the grid.

Give me a return to the beautiful and generally sleek F1 cars of circa 1997 - 2003-ish any day.

They're not perfect, but we've seen worse.



But I do agree with zurich_allen in his comment above. My favourite F1 cars were also the late 90s / early 2000s ones. Just the right look.

They've got a dip in their bump.

I like the number on the sidepod like that, they should all be made to do that though I bet that space is worth a lot.
