So apparently some bellend broke into our house yesterday, so have been sorting that today, except i'm away from uni until Sunday which makes it worse cause i won't properly know what happened until then!

They did the patio door in and made off with my housemate's Mac, but it seems that's all they stole. The benefit of having a big desktop computer...

That's not good. Hope you were fully insured and the thief stopped at you housemate's Mac. Hopefully the police will catch them but I wouldn't hold my breath.

The new OSX Lion update has find my Mac. If the theives connect to the web your flat mate could find it's location and also wipe it and make it u usable. Same as find my iPhone and iPad.

Ah the old hair drier trick.... that was it wasnt it?

They're in a wall. Road has been dug up clearing one blockage, main water feed to house via a hose pipe by-passes another and one bedroon remains waterless.

Bought a new guitar lead in what has to be the best shop I've been into in a long time. Walls covered in guitars and basses (all outwith my price range). Spent my last day of freedom playing guitar.

Back to the funny farm tomorrow after 9 days off.

Just the guitar but I tend to play quite a few bass tabs on the guitar. I'll buy a bass one day (I'm saving as best I can and a cheap one for £150 from Argos will do me for now) and start trying to replicate the Peter Hook sound.

Nice. There were a few like that in the shop I was in this morning. I quite fancy a Rickenbacker 4001 but they are rather pricey.

I've got a Les Paul replica (Encore) at the moment. Black with a white pick guard. Does the job for learning on and didn't break the bank if it turned out I couldn't play!
