Kimi is not only the fastest on Day 1 of testing in Jerez, but he also set a time faster than any testing at Jerez last year too!

It was a bit tongue in cheek. I know it doesn't mean anything, but the general consensus on this forum is that it's only McLaren fans that do that.

Second best looking car on the grid for the HRT boys, arguably first even.

Car number 23 belongs to HRT. And as WB says, it doesn't look half bad!

I don't care that it means nothing, Raikkonen fastest today on his first day back!

Waiting for Red Bull to really unleash their potential speed, they seem to have much more to come... Good signs for Force India and Sauber too, getting a lot of mileage under their belt already. That HRT is the 2011 car btw.

If anyone finds any good sized photos from today, please share! I want to see what some cars have changed since launch...

Look at that for a finishing order after testing Day 1! That's testing for ya.

Quite low key days for all the top teams, although Red Bull were starting to show more pace towards the end it seems.

"I'm much lower in the car, and the way the car is I can just about see out which I love. I love that position, so I'm well inside the car, feel like I'm part of it ......."

Doesnt bode too well for lewis does it! He was already having trouble with the mirrors, Now he wont be able to see out the front either! Is this what jenson meant when he said the designers were listening to him?!

Lewis is still young, he can start on an HGH program.

Don't forget that seats are custom-made, and that I'm sure Lewis and his group has taken any architectural changes into consideration.

Why are Marussia not testing? Surely they need to give Pic some decent mileage. Even HRT are testing and they never tested before.
