That's too bad. If someone is promoted 2 or even 3 steps higher in 1 go, maybe its due to the trust/capability proven to the big bosses as they've seen enough to justify the decision? Taking Lewis' case, it was more than justified when he showed the world how a double WDC was pleading for No.1 status and then ran back to his old team when the kitchen got too hot for him. Plus even if you don't like it, you still gotta suck it up and comply to their wishes (in real life that is).
In my book a driver needs at least 7 titles or to have some sort of apprenticeship where they pay their dues in a lower team. Pretty much the same in real life where I can't respect someone who goes straight into a promoted post without proving their worth.
