The pics Spanky posted : if you follow the f1sketch.com thread on f1technical (where these designers use FIA regs to design their own f1 cars such as the one pictured.) The designer of this car came up with the same concept but people there think its against the regulations also commenting on the Ferrari rumours.

Pretty neat and tidy, shades of last year's Red Bull with the huge recess at the rear of the sidepods. This car actually looks very much reminiscent of McLaren's 2010 car in Monza spec!

they have had that for a couple years now. Think Williams were first to use that splitter actually.

After today's launch, I thought about how creative of a launch last year's car enjoyed and missed it a bit. I hope this is an indicator that McLaren are all business this year.
