This VW in F1 thing keeps popping up every year or so, I'm surprised it's still quietly rumbling on.

So what are they thinking of doing? Buying out a midfield team under the pretence of future glory, only to depart 3 years down the line, when they realise the commitment needed for success is simply too great? Brilliant.

If Audi's success in Le Mans dating back to 1998 is any indication, I don't think it'll be a problem.
