Ultimate reason for all life forms partnering up and having umpalumpa is to reproduce. No one has a choice in that urge as much as you have a choice in being born. Call it love all you like simple fact of the matter is passing on your genes is what its all about.
Homosexuals are attracted to the same umpalumpa, now this won't help reproduction something is amiss chemically with them but again they have no choice in this, they are what they are.

You fell for a common fallacy: not all schmex is for reproduction, in some species it's actually a minor reason. There are many, many examples in Mother Nature where it is evident that a couple (of whichever gender  ) 'do it' for other reasons: pleasure, payment for goods or actions such as support in something against something or somebody, friendship, submission, domination, appeasement, consolation, even jealousy or deception come to mind and many more.

Some of those reasons are just an example of how fecked up the human race can be though. And you could make a pretty damn strong argument that a lot of those examples are due to environment rather than genetics. You seem to be suggesting that bud's view is somehow factually flawed or inappropriate, which is perhaps fallacious in itself (i think this whole discussion probably is actually, haha). ALL species have to reproduce...

Jokes aside, if drivers wanna sit on pole in more ways than one, I don't care.

Pole sitters was my f1 fantasy team name, ranked #2 for this forum btw

I think LH dragged the cat cat doll around to every GP for a cover! Jk

I'd be concerned about a homosexual driver and the proximity of Austin to the Bible Belt where some of the less enlightened and modern places of Christian worship exist.

I guess you never heard the saying " steers and queers" ?

Very true.

In many Muslim nations, such as Bahrain, Qatar, Algeria, Uzbekistan and the Maldives, homosexuality is punished with jail time, fines, or corporal punishment. The death penalty is currently in place in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Mauritania, northern Nigeria, Sudan, and Yemen.

Most Muslim-majority countries are not liberal in terms of tolerance for homosexual rights. Some like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Sudan, Yemen, Afghanistan, Iraq, Uzbekistan and Malaysia have high levels of hostility due to the influence of religion and politics.

In the UK, a Gallup poll showed that none of the 500 British Muslims polled believed homosexuality to be "morally acceptable", compared with 35% of the 1001 French Muslims polled. A 2007 survey of British muslims showed that 61% believe homosexuality should be illegal, with up to 71% young British muslims holding this belief.

Just goes to show what a severely uneducated and hostile world we still live in then! Note how much of the dogma and hate all stems from religious circles and corrupt politics... :nono::thumbdown:

Chimps, dolphins, highly advanced species who obviously know it feels good, which would be why over time it has been adapted in those scenarios. But that's not to say they won't reproduce still so I wouldn't call these animals gay as such. They are more like pubescent kids :hehe:

Homophobic WTF??? I'f you've read all I have written throughout this thread, you'll see that is clearly not the case!

Once again tex, you blow your stack without even stepping back and reading the situation in the first place. Don't even bother contributing if all you can do is p!ss everyone off with your stupid and unnecessary volatile temper. :nono:

If it's a waste of time then why read it? Further, why post on this topic, thus meaning that your attention will be drawn to this thread every time a new post is added by way of the "View your posts" section?

Clearly it is not a waste of time seeing as you responded to it.

The way F1 would react all depends on how stereotype minded it would be.

First of all, let me set things straight ( :hehe: ), I don't care what kind of sexual orientation someone has, it's obvious nobody asked to be straight,gay,...
but you have to agree that F1 on its own has a certain image, and some part of that image contains "fast cars, cool men (pilots), and pit babes". That's just how it is. Overall speaking, you could say F1 on that aspect is very much a straight appealing sport.

I don't believe a "Brüno"-ish type of character would actually get there or fit in...
But to be honest, a lot of gay people just blend in. They look and live like an average straight people, and why couldn't they actually be a fast racing-driver?

If someone like that would enter F1, and give us great races, great results, I don't see a problem with that at all. After all, that's what we want isn't it? Great races with great action from great pilots, gay and straight ones.

There are also fashion shows, someone holding an umbrella over your head even when it's not raining and the drivers are all neat, thin and well manicured. :hehe:
