I think Vettel will have the upper hand initially as Bourdais gets accustomed to F1, but from then on Bourdais will either do a JV or a Zanardi.

I think that is the question really, will he cope with an F1 Car, but then again Zanardi did well in his first period of being in F1 IIRC

His no TC style might give him a headstart but Vettel will pass him by the middle to end of the season.

I don't think the lack of TC would not make that much of a difference after all these guys have made it to the top without TC

Poor SB, what a bleak outlook: either croon like a wannabe male Britney or get your legs cut off...

I am still a bit shocked that a Multi winning championship driver has gone to Torro Rosso

It's just proof that a driver need's more than just a great resume from another racing serie's proving how competative F1 is now. We must consider that although the driver's for alot of team's could have been set last year and personaly I would accept a drive in any F1 team. If SB can bring the team 'un thought of result's' this year he will be quickly moving up the rank's of championship contending team's imho.

Indeed, and as F1-rejects also comment, there are no longer any perennial backmarkers in the mould of Piercarlo Ghinzani, you're either good enough and move on up, or not good enough and move away.

I think Vettel will come out on top. He's shown for some time that he has the skill against a higher standard of drivers and with inferior equipment, unlike Bourdais who's competed with easily the best car with a load of rejects.
