Me too, think he's great. Who will the beeb wheel in to replace Brundle and Eddie? I can see Karun Chandhok playing some part. He seems to be Mr media now he hasn't got a drive.

Absolutely, Karun has proved to be an excellent TV pundit! Both infront of the camera and in the commentary box. No wonder the BBC use him so often!

I'm a big fan of having Jake, DC, Martin and Eddie doing the presenting & commentary. It'll be a massive shame to see this fall apart IMO. :(

Is it thump! It's bloody awful!

Can't stand Eddie Jordan and Martin Brundle and Jake Humpty adds nothing. David Coulthard is the only one worth bothering with as he knows what he's talking about. Bring back Murray Walker!!!!

Virgin have announced they will be carrying the channel. You need to take the sky sports package which is £22.50 a month but least I won't have to switch to sky. Was hoping they would offer just the f1 channel for say £10 a month but least I can get it :)

And Damon Hill on Sky too?
My question is what will I get In Canada? Until now TSn has been just relaying the Martin and David Show.

I have sky sports anyway so its not a money issue, i just don't think the presenters will be as good as the bbc. humphrey, ej and dc attract both the die hard fans and also the guys that are just joining the sport, whereas at sky it will be steve rider again! he is one of the most boring presenters ever!

:hehe: Watching Steve Rider interview Lewis Hamilton was just hilarious! He clearly regarded Lewis as the second coming or something.

To those not in the know, back in those days, ITV F1 viewers were treated to endless reams of interviews with Lewis Hamilton and no-one else, with Steve Rider absolutely creaming himself in the tedious process.

I remember my Dad pointing out years ago that you only ever see his top half on TV and you never see him walking or on long shots. His theory is that the guy was wearing stocking, suspenders and high heels like some sort of Mony Python sketch. Ever notice the way he holds his microphone? Rather than gripping it, he holds it by his finger tips with finger that resemble low quality sausages.

 Yeah I did notice that! My little brother always used to laugh himself silly as Rider delicately waggled the microphone to-and-fro between his finger-tips as he conversed lovingly with F1's latest superhero.

Are Virgin offering the channel in HD? Last I checked, Sky were keeping a few of the Sports & Movies channels as HD exclusives.
