At least they have a realistic long term plan, i'd rather that than some team scraping by week to week as we had in the 90's and such - those teams had literally no hope, but Hispania are at least giving themselves a chance by being sensible and playing the long game.

Maybe in 2012 Virgin can actually beat them now though :hehe::rolleyes:

A step backwards? Marussia will be partying hard at hearing that little bit of news.....

A step back isn't so bad...it just means going back to their rookie season being last. Right now they're 2nd last. But who knows, Marussia might be so crap that HRT might actually remain 2nd best in 2012.

Not to be underdone, Virgin (Marussia) have decided to go back to the drawing board (literally) and the wind tunnel. They've pronounced their £18 million romance with CFD a dismal failure and they're going back to the stubby pencil and wind tunnel method. And the HUGE piles of cash they'd paid to Nick Wirth Research might go down in the record books as the worst investment in the history of F1 (apart from whatever salary Michael Schumacher is being paid).

So HRT won't be the only team pressing the reset button in a valiant effort to reach the bottom of the WCC.
