Valentino Rossi went quicker than Loeb in two stages of the Monza Rally show, at the Italian GP venue. He beat Loeb on both runs of this stage which is 20.2 miles long. He finished the whole event second overall, 24secs behind Loeb.
His performance was described as outstanding considering its two years since he's driven a rally car and then it was in the wet.
He drove a Ford Fiesta RS WRC.
