This news has made my day! Hopefully next season the car will be up to scratch - to an extent i don't see why it can't be now the blown diffusers are banned. Be interesting to see if Petrov is confirmed too, i would have thought he would have been already. I hope Senna gets the drive if Kubica still isn't fit... imagine if he does recover though, that'll be a lineup capable of destroying everyone...

Yeah but this is Kimi, so its ok. The sword of Damacles only decends on certain drivers for being outspoken, irreverent, politically incorrect or withdrawn. Kimi isnt one of 'those'people, so its ok.

How is that comment any of those things? At least he isn't going round claiming people are racist towards him. (edit - before it all kicks off, that is just an easy example of a driver showing some of those attributes you have so vociferously damned).

I dont think any driver has claimed racism towards them Im fine with Kimi being outspoken, and I wasnt damning those attributes at all, I much prefer them.........from drivers one and all, not just from selective drivers.

Raikkonen and Petrov next year. I like the sound of that! Petrov should learn a lot from Raikkonen. Hopefully his head won't go down if Raikkonen starts trouncing him at every race.

No. It wasnt meant to. Kimi's 'havin a s***' comment was right up their with my favourite comments. Loved it! Just as lewis' Ali G comment was a joke. same thing to me.I dont like the hypocrisy that exists. I much prefer drivers to speak their mind and not be politically correct. They are people and should be respected for that, they are not corporate clones. Good on Petrov, he shouldnt have apologised for what he said either..

Well if a past great/WDC like MS can return to the sport in a midfield car then so can a past great/WDC like Kimi. I'd much rather have Kimi in the sport than MS.
