Nice one for Mark, of all the ones left in the race Mark was my 1st choice.

Let me derive some sad pleasure by listing out the victories for the Top 6 in 2011:

Vettel:11
Button: 3
Hamilton: 3
Webber: 1
Alonso: 1

Maybe it was the same problem, but the difference was Vettel's engineer going "Shortshift on 2nd and 3rd, save the car!!" while Hamiltons is like "You got gearbox issue but you cant help it we're doomed, just keep driving".

Just taking the piss a little. But I haven't heard any instance in the whole of 2011 where Hamilton's engineer was actually 'useful'.

Well it wasn't a classic, but it's fantastic to see Mark Webber get the win. At least he ended the season on a high. Big congrats to Jenson too... once again, another great performance.
