Today we're told the company I work for is about to go, some companies have already gone and others are on the brink even though there is a huge amount of work in the city needing done but isn't being given out to the contractors.

Day off after a long backshift yesterday and a new level of idiocy amoungst some of my fellow employees.

According to some conspiracy theory obsessed gossiping female co-worker who appears younger than me, I should always side with the regular workers and not the management but with no reason behind it and seemingly irrespective of who is right or wrong.

I didn't have the heart to explain the stupidity of her statement or that I am on the side of me only and that the managers so far have treated me pretty well so I have no beef against them as I think she would have failed to understand my sensible stance due to it being sensible. It gave me a chuckle but this job is going to cost me a fortune in tinfoil if I listen to anymore of this sort of crap. Iwonder if I can get away with wearing earplugs on the days that none of my crew are in?

I managed to go for over a year but I don't need alcohol to get through life or have a good time. I like to remember things.
