Well practice form so far has suggested that things are very close once again between Red Bull and McLaren. I'm hoping for a really close fight all the way to bring the curtain down on 2011 in fine style. 8-)

I expect another McLaren race but only due to the fact that Red Bull were able to stop developing their car quite a bit earlier in the season than McLaren.

proof? far as i could see they were both running new parts that were beneficial for 2012 as much as they were for 2011.

It was mentioned a while back that Red Bull had stopped developing the RB7 and were concentrating on the RB8 with a few experimental test pieces seeing as both titles were in the bag. Ferrari have also done the same. If something is beneficial for 2012, it doesn't necessarily mean that it is beneficial to 2011.

No, they did say their focus is more on 2012 but McLaren and Redbull are not the exceptions to the general practice, Ferrari are. Ferrari have openly stated they are focusing on the 2012 car and pretty much halted major developments...McLaren and Redbull are still using the 2011 cars as test beds for the 2012 parts as they believe these cars are good representations of the 2012 cars due to no major rule changes.

In a way, the Ferrari fans should be happier as their car gave a pretty good run in Abu Dhabi, even though they supposedly 'halted' most of their development efforts for this years car.

the whole saying testing parts for 2012 is BS I don't see Redbull running a non blown diffuser... Aero aspects from 2011 to 2012 are the same aside from the EBD. SO as I said running parts for 2012 are also going to be beneficial for 2011 as the aero regs are the same.

A wet Brazilian race always throws up fun...podium should be Lewis, Vettel, Alonso in order. :D
