As 2008 approaches, time to vote off the best and the worst and the downright... whatever moments of the year, here's my nominations;
Thread of the Year - Trulli's silly sausage by Laura (we miss you babe!)
Post of the Year - Stephen's "Fuji Moment" in the Fuji predictions thread
Forum clown of the Year - Lewisfan and his sick obsession with Nazi's
Forum Member of the Year - texasmr2
Best Grand Prix of the Year - Canadian Grand Prix - Lewis' first win and Wurz scores a Podium for the Williams team
Worst Grand Prix of the Year - I would normally say Spain, and as usual it was a crap race and the Blades got relegated hours later, but the Turkish Grand Prix takes this year's award for being downright dissapointing after all it's buildup and dull, even with Rubens' "don't make me laugh" comment. Plus there was only 1 retirement.
Rookie of the Year - Sebastien Vettel, he's going to be BIG.
Villain of the Year - Close call between Alonso for being a cry-baby and Max Mosley, but Mosley takes this one for his overall incompetence, his stupid 10 year engine freeze rule and also calling Sir Jackie Steward a "certified halfwit".
Broadcasted radio transmission of the Year - Pat Symonds in Canada informing Fisichella he's been black flagged, still using the "cattle prod" on him.
Pit Babe of the Year - ... all of them, they're all hot
Best looking F1 Car of the Year - The Toro Rosso, it's got a bit of a dark-side feeling to it.
Worst looking F1 Car of the Year - Not even Honda's sickly Earth Car can pry this title away from Toyota who once again turn up with the same car again... yawn...
