This, I feel, was the best race this circuit has produced so far. This is why I'm a fan of DRS this season, because it's played it's part in livening up previously crap races. I'm all for it until another, more authentic solution can be found.

It was a nice race to watch. Not super exciting, but good for Abu dhabi. The track and surroundings is beautiful though...

There it goes!Exactly.I was just thinking:''That is really good for a crappy circuit!'' Btw i was thrilled that Rosberg would be in the podium however i realized that 1 Pit Stop thing.I missed Vettel's spin so when i turned the race on i thought he just had a pit stop :D

Bloody puncture!! :irked:

The bits of the race I saw were processional, off to watch it now (probably on fastforward) fully in the knowledge that the outcome is s***!**

**That's a joke so I don't need any Hamilton/Alonso/Button/Ferrari/McLaren fans having hissy fits.

I've started working Sunday afternoons but I should be around for the Brazilian GP seeing as that is on in the evening (7pm I think).

Still, I spent some time winding up one of the managers who is a Hamilton fan who can take a joke. It was all good banter.

Just seeing Vettels spin and I'm thinking that you McLaren fans should be thankful that he starts like a rat up a drainpipe. Had things been closer I think there would have been more than 1 car involved.

Ahh brilliant. That's the beauty of great sporting rivalries. When both sides can take a great joke and have some fun, the rivalry and the banter is bloody terrific!! :D

You should get him signed up on here!

Interesting statistic, Hamilton will have worn number 1 in 2009, number 2 in 2010, number 3 in 2011, and will have number 4 for the 2012 season.

Yeah, saw that, too. So by this logic, LH will drive in number 5 for 2013? :P

No it will be number 1

Yes. Once it gets to number4 its starts over. So number1 it is :P

That's according to racechick's law, right? :hehe:

I think racechick's law stands. Also, once it calibrates back to number 1, it sticks for however many years are in that calendar year.

Lame race... You have the fastest driver and then puncture... I hate when it goes that way... But, at least Kobayashi had a good race...

Hardly lame. But given Vettel didn't do a lap time to make a proper judgement, you can't say he was the fastest.

There was no puncture for the fastest driver today, he won, period.

BTW... when I saw Vettel spinning with a flat I though "oh no, another Hamilton penalty" until they showed the footage hehe. I'm sure you all thought the same, dont hide it now :D

my first thought was "ha webber fails again!" then when i saw it was Vettel, it was "sweet! lewis could win now!!!"
