We will have a poppy on our football shirts tomorrow, thanks to the future king Prince William :D
So up yours FIFA :D long live the king (well future one anyway ) :D

Good decision. What a load of :bs: that whole mess was. I'm glad to see the poppies will be allowed to be on the shirts.

I wonder if any F1 teams or drivers will be sporting a poppy? On the car, race suit or helmet maybe?

Yea i would if I was a driver ,have a special helmet for the occasion

Definitely.

It'll be interesting to see at Abu Dhabi... an F1 season (recently) has very rarely gone so late into the year...

I caried as normal. Had a shower and nipped out to the shop before lunch and work.

93 years on and mankind has still yet to learn and understand that wars are pointless and politians still keep sending people to early graves as they themselves are too cowardly to fight and/or not intelligent enough to sort out their differences through acting as adults.

You don't have to be pro war to show a little respect for those that have fallen to give you the quality of life you have at the moment.

I was at work, drafting my resignation letter. Gave it to HR around 4:30pm. HR asked my why today, and I had a ready reply, "It's a special day to remember".

In 1 1/2 months time I start working for myself. F**k yeah. :drink:

Not even a minute silence to drop what you were doing? Poor form.

You don't have to have a moments silence to pay your respects.

this is true, but the idea of it is to pay respect. Its like taking your hat off during the anthem its just something you have to do. I didn't have relatives in the 1st world war, but i did in the 2nd. My grandfather was in the British Army he was in the black watch and earned the military medal for taking out a whole bunch of Nazis on his own. So for this I always acknowledge the minutes silence on remembrance day.
