I have recently acquired 2 Thinkpad laptops.
Neither work.
I did get one to work, for a couple of days, but now has given up on me.

Laptop #1: When the Power button is pressed it does what should happen and everything works. Apart from the screen. The power is on, but nothing at all appears on the screen. The manual says it may be a brightness problem but i have tried that and it doesnt fix it.

Laptop #2: Did work but stopped. When the power button is pressed a light flashes and nothing else happens. When the power is on there are some lights that are on.

If any one has any information or help, then please, please help me.

Thankyou.

laptop #1; sounds like the graphics card suggest you take it out for 5 mins then put it back in as this resets it to its orginal configuration

laptop #2; see above
