Giancarlo Fisichella as been in a Championship winning team in Renault for the past few seasons and at age 34 nearly 35 what is his personal goals in going to a team thats fighting for one or two points at best, wins or podiums wouldnt even be considered by the team .
Sure every driver wants to race at the highest level possible thats a given but also drivers must want satisfaction in what they are doing. Im not sure Fisi or even Ralf would get any satisfaction in racing at the rear end of the grid. Look at Jenson Button he has publicly said he has no desire to keep racing in the mid field and would probably rather quit F1 than continue to do that. Which i agree with racers are racers, they want to win they want to race. Even if that means changing racing series and Formula.
I think its time for Giancarlo to concentrate on his GP2 team and even look at racing in other series in which he can atleast compete and move forward in. Force India should be looking and opening up their cockpits to the young blokes wanting to get a start to their F1 career in a hope of one day moving up the grid if they are proven good enough!
My rant
