I can't wait until the fallout here when Jenson is marked in the #3 car and Lewis in the #4 car next year.

RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE

Happened last year JB had the No1 LH No2

Yeah but this time Jenson may have EARNED it. Something that a few folk on here seem unwilling to accept.

This topic is so old now... talk about cobwebs and layers of dust....

I started a new topic with this becuses its not about Whitmarsh. If you dont like it you dont have to contibute to it.

Not bothered what number lewis has on his car next year.

I said at the beginning I was not having a go at Jenson. Its a dog eat dog world and he does what he has to do and is good at it-but lets not look at him with rosy glasses on, he's driven for lots of teams and he's been less than loyal. Thats fine its business, I've always claimed that, but c'mon, Lewis has done far less wheeler dealing so dont set him up as the disloyal one. Jenson is hunkey Dorey when it suits. And he does it all with a smile.

Anyway, the topic was about how well Jenson has managed to get the team working round him, and has that destabilized lewis? I'd say that was a compliment to jenson if its the case. It might not be the case. It was a suggestion.

EDIT- I'll merge this with 'Whitmash and his relationship with his drivers' if you think theres a connection.

What? Aside from the Williams incident (which, ultimately, turned out to have been a good move), he showed great loyalty sticking with BAR, then the woeful Honda.

Geez so Jensons a bad guy now? I bumped into Jenson on the streets of Melbourne in 2008, day after Lewis won. my friend and I were wearing McLaren victory tops, he went out of his way to say hello. I see him as a genuine nice person.

I DID NOT SAY JENS WAS A BAD GUY! For christ sake, read what I write.

True that Lew, why is it stil left open? All conjecture and speculation and no facts to be established or discussed. Some people here must be buying a lot of tin foil and wire coat hangers.

There is no conspiracy. Button has beaten Hamilton fair and square nothing more.

As for the car numbers, are the drivers not getting to choose their own car number again next year? I'm sure I heard that this was coming back soon.

[racechick]

Its not about a conspircay and the thread has been merged with the Team Button thread. Dont like it? Dont post in it.

[andrew]

If it's not about conspiracy, let's have some facts rather than over analysing of events and trying to see something that is in all probibility is not there.

Think he would've done the same if he was at McLaren already and his teammate had won the day before?

[McLaren]

Jenson for PM yea now we're talking

Oh hell no!

This might add to the conspiracy but someone I used to work with has a friend whose other half is supposedly from the same neck of the woods as Button. Apparently he's a right nonce but I dare say all drivers and famous folk have a good few people who claim to have grown up in the same town just to add a bit of weight to their claim that the person is a twat.

Just dropping it in there.

Someone invite Martin Whitmarsh to be a member of this forum! He can speak out! Then all this mucking around would cease!!

Still wouldn't convince everyone.

I suppose the only way to convince folk would be to get Lewis Hamilton himself on here! Who wants twitter when you've got Forumula1, Hammy?

Still wouldn't convince everyone. Some would say it's a fake.
