Guess it was fine when Lewis was getting first dibs at new parts instead of Heikki or even getting more love from the team right?

Sarcastic question
:yuck: Media shot. Was this before or after " things were said that could never be taken back"
So, uh. What exactly are you claiming the problem with Whitmarsh is? The guy has defended his driver in the worst of circumstances over the past three years, even when Lewis has been in the wrong and, as a result, has left us shaking our heads at the McLaren management.
C'mon, keep up Dent! Look around.
Yeah, you keep claiming that Whitmarsh doesn't like him but, uh... There's really nothing to back that up.
Well there is. If you listen to all the pre and post race interviews over the last 2 seasons( not just the last couple of race where he's got wind of the gossip) And watch his body language. Im good at body language, but I do think its a bit of a girl skill. Not meaning to be sexist there, but it does mostly tend to be.
Even if Whitmarsh likes Jenson more what's that got to do with Lewis again?
Well it pisses me off. Lewis may be fine with it. Yeah he looks cool about things right now.

What does it matter, though? Everybody is going to like one more than the other. It doesn't interfere with the opportunities or equipment either driver is given, so it's hardly a problem.
Today's race pretty much explains why I'm a Lewis fan.
I think he can be such an idiot at times, immature behaviour (the snarky message he sent to his team via radio today, good example), he's reckless, drives irrationaly at times, impetuous, whiny.
But, he is my number one driver because despite all his little foibles, he is so freakin good. How he kept Webber behind him lap after lap after lap is just amazing. The pressure alone should have resulted in some major error, but I don't think he even locked a tyre.
I felt very much the same way watching Senna, I knew he could be an idiot, but he was sooo good that I had to forgive him his douchebag tendencies and concentrate how excellent he was behind the wheel.
I think what I'm trying to say is, respect the talent, not the personality.
It was a solid race for him, im happy that came along, he acted like a win wouldnt change things post quali but this second place has lifted him obviously, if only watching interviews and stuff.
But the defending wasnt that impressive, in the same way Vettel defending Hamilton in Spain wasnt that impressive, a great first/last corner run negated a bad DRS zone, Hamilton knew like Vettel did after 5 laps that he wouldnt pass him in this race.
Whats next? India, hope he can become the first winner of that race then.
