If you're going to keep complaining about nothing then yes I'll keep up the VetTEL, might even move up to VetTEL. :P

Grow up.

Hammer you are right its great having two racing drivers commentating and they work well together. Andrew surely you are not going to drive me crazy as well with your vetTELs? Thing is though David is being paid a professional fee for commentating so he is a pro and part of a commentators job is to get the names right. But it seems I won't get any support from this forum just have to complain to the BBC (who pay his salary)

He's being paid a salary to commentate and he's doing it well. The VetTEL is part of the Scottish accent and he's grown with it. You're practically asking him to change his accent and that's not exactly going to happen. I'm sure you wouldn't pronounce my name as my parents would. Does that mean you're in the wrong if you're commentating and I'm in the race? :hehe:

I think the correct way to pronounce it is Koobika.

I had a Polish GF, she schooled me on this, it is pronounced correct by most commentators, "Ku Bis a" c is an s sound I'm the Slavic tongues

It's more of a German z sound, similar to tz: http://namethatdriver.com/select_driver.asp

All this fuss over DC's pronunciation of a name, not really that big a issue is it? of all the talking points we've had this season, this doesn't even make the list!

I noticed Brundle pronounces Sutil as SuTIL. Doesn't bother me at all, just dropping it in there.

According to Sutil himself that is correct, The link DD posted has all the answers there. I found Webbers funny :hehe:

I don't think Webber is too sure about his name. Sounded like he was asking a question!

Did you listen to Alonso's one? In English it's pronounced "Prick". :hehe:

JJ Letho's one is something else. You get that in Scrabble it'll be the highest score ever recorded!
