Great effort by McLaren and Lewis today and Jenson was good also. They are looking good for a win in race 700.

I find it very hard to believe, in the space of ONE week, RB have gone from a season of utter domination at Q to a quarter of a second slower than Lewis. I'll even accept the conspiracy jibes, to make the incredibly obvious point that this sudden plummet on Friday and Saturday performance come in the same week that Scarb's publishes details on how a flexible T-tray (that would carry the same scuffing as was seen on Webber's RB) could be implemented and that could get around the FiA tests.

I guess it could be co-incidence, but it would be a mighty convenient coincidence. But if the RB's are further off the pace tomorrow..........

The performance plummet may really have started in Japan, as you say race pace will be a much bigger indicator than Q but Scarb's theory is very interesting.

If Red Bull are falling behind I suspect they will now be fully focussing on their 2012 car seeing as the drivers championship is secured and they'll be aiming to have a gentle cruise to the constructors as the have a decent gap to McLaren and can just be consistant rather than going flat out whereas McLaren are still working on this years car. Either that or Red Bukll have maxed out this years car and McLaren still have room for improvement. So have McLaren caught up or have Red Bull stopped?

Well considering McLaren and Redbull have both said developing components for next years car are as relevant now as it is to the coming winter testing because the rules are stable. For example Ferrari are running a developmental wing for next year with Fernando this weekend.
So if Redbull have stopped developing all together then that would be a mistake as they are the ones in prime position to bring parts for next year to the races.
Which I do not think is the case.

I know why Lewis is so sad, its not because Jenson is ahead..... But Im not going to go there, cos it makes me sad. I have a favour to ask you guys. Im in France with no TV and am struggling to get illicit online viewing of the race. I'll keep trying, but if all else fails, could someone post the main events. Please :( But if Lewis gets hit or hits another car or gets screwed again..commentary may stop :(:(:(

Thanks Bud. Ive just had a look at that site. I tried to play the press confrerence form the top three but it said 'video not available in your area'...which doesnt bode well :( Thanks for trying though. Ive tried a few other things, like getting BBCI player through other channels but no good so far.Maybe I'll ferret about for a French online thningy. To be honest Im not sure I could stand the stress of watching at the moment, migh be better if I dont.

What's the reason, then? You shouldn't leave us hanging like that.
#279901
You know the reason. Because Ive said it lots of times in lots of threads. And people keep having a go at me for saying it, so Id better not stat in here as well.

There are always F1 feeds at vipbox.tv. You get a few options there. BTW they cover all practice and Q as well as race.
