Aw maaaaan... C'mon that was at least 2 and a half years ago now. :(

For all you know, I could now be a radical muslim clerk. Things change pretty quickly in 2 and a half years. :P

Well, lets see if I do make it to Adelaide first, it's a very BIG "could." Like, a 5% chance. :hehe:

And when I to make it there, it would be likely a 30-50% chance out of that 5%.

So there is a 2.5% chance you and I would have a beer within the next year.

It's an Aussie love fest. They'll be like the odd couple. One supports McLaren and the other supports Red Bull but being Australian they'll bond over a mutual love of F1, beer and :sheep:. Are 2 blokes allowed to get married in Australia or will it be a civil partnership? Given the differences in team support I don't think you 2 should have kids as they may end up being Ferrari fans. :hehe:

Someone mentioned Fraff's lifetime of sharing a cell with Max Mosley, it hapened a couple weeks ago he appeared to be missing in action but I have to say he is not the worst, just very passionate about his favouite driver and team but at least he had the stones to apologise via a PM when if he let things get out of hand and I actually found him to be quite an amiable chap. Got to respect a guy for willingly wanting to clear the air and admit when they've been in the wrong, not a lot of people will do that.

I just can't see myself changing teams...When I pick a team, I usually stick with them whoever the players(for regular sports) or drivers(for motorsports) are...

The beauty w/ F1 is, I have two choices when it comes to the driver that I want to support since each team has 2 cars...If Button leaves mclaren, I won't support him anymore. I will then need to decide who between lewis and button's replacement I wanna support..

Same here. I support the team, and always will. There are other teams and other drivers that I like too, but my passion will always be for McLaren. :drink:

I've met quite a few muslim clerks, generally at convenience stores or gas stations. Very pleasant, always polite and thankful for the business.

It was Monaco 2008 (a race which Lewis won) that made me notice Vettel, it was Monza 2008 when I thought he was awesome. It was Brazil '08 when I started supporting Vettel.

It was timed nicely because Lewis had just won - but the emotions I had in Brazil - wow! My then-favourite driver Hamilton was about lose his title because my then-second-favourite driver overtook him. When I saw Massa cross the line and how happy the Ferrari team were - it made me so happy that Vettel helped them win the title (because face it, Hamilton was 6th, Massa was first. Massa did everything he had to to win the title in the final race- Hamilton didn't). But when Hamilton crossed the line I was going to explode.

But after that race - knowing how much Vettel affected me - I supported him.

Actually, because I had too much time on my hands - I thought I'd go back in time and find the post where I told everyone I wasn't supporting Hamilton as a favourite anymore. :wavey:

Tbh - I wasn't expecting Vettel to win so many races as he did - I honestly thought Red Bull would be a midfield team going into '09. But Vettel wiped the floor with Webber and ever since I've been happy to be a fan.

^^ Sorry... was I talking out loud? :hehe:

Im curious about something in this race.
Webber clipped Schumachers left rear on the entry to Dunlop, and then Blasted past, on Lap 21.
This happened before massa hit lewis.
Then during the next five laps we saw replay after repay of the massa lewis incident, lots of conjecture, Coulthard wondering about a penalty...for Lewis only of course. We saw the Safety Car being deployed, and news of an investigation involving cars 3 and 6. No news whatsoever of an even worse incident during which track position changed. Later a brief replay shows Webber loosing his front wing. the Webber/Scumacher incident was pretty much ignored, not related to the safety car deployment at all, even though webbers front wing was on the track. No. the TV only showed that tiny bit of wreckage from massa hitting lewis.
Whats going on?

No one had to stop for a puncture when Schumacher and Webber had their contact.

Er what??

Muck yer lugs out lassie. :hehe:

Didn't Hamilton get a puncture after hitting Massa's wing or am I thinking of earlier in the race?

The last GP is just a distant hazy memory after todays 6 hour intake of supposedly essential information at work. Kind of on autopilot now.
