Hangon I hear it's the passers responsibilty to make a clean overtake? Lewis gets drilled for passing moves, now it's his fault when he is the car infront? The guy can't win with some of you lot

If Lewis was at fault vlad, then so was Seb with button at the start!

Button was nowhere near in a position as good as Massa! And Hamilton really didn't have to do it, he would have saved the position!

I do believe that seb has a fault during the start...

IMO, whoever initiated the contact(or close contact), that's the driver at fault...

They were two racing incidents, its what happens when fast cars race on narrow tracks. The stewards got it right today.

Lewis kept one line he didn't make two moves, was in front so had the choice of line. Massa could have lifted but chose not too, being behind he hit the car in front.

It's just a shame about his puncture.( I suppose MW was behind this too :whip: ) He could have challenged for the win otherwise, perhaps a 1-2 for McLaren.

Year you're right Button was in a better position than Massa clearly Seb forced him off track

And what exactly did Hamilton do? He took the bloody racing line! Massa didnt hsve to pass on the outside there more like it
I'm sick of discussing Lewis with you guys he is always in the wrong no matter what!

 But this way the points gap between the two drives stays bigger.

And lewis can't seem to make a mistake w/ you guys...

He hit massa so he's at fault...If the situation was reversed, it would be massa at fault...

Anyway, this is a non issue since no penalty was given..

So why are you making it an issue? thnere was lots of contact up and down the field. Why are you making an issue about lewis?

How can the car infront hut the guy behind? Where's that logic? Hamilton had every right to take his line Massa made the choice to put his car where he did, it is his own fault!

I'm simply replying to someone who quoted my earlier post(I believe every poster has a right to reply on the topic when his/her post is quoted)

This is my last post on the topic since this is obviously all about perspective...I've always maintained that whoever initiates the contact is the one at fault for the contact(penalty or no penalty)...I believe that hamilton inititated the contact because massa was driving on a straight line and the contact happened because hamilton changed lanes possibly knowing that massa is there. Bud on the other hand believes that the front driver always has the right to change lanes as long as the one change of lane rule is followed. Again, it's all about perspective....
