Hello!

One thing that I have known for a very long time is that a F1 season is pretty long (9 months), and I have thought about what the drivers etc are doing between each race. Do they go together with the team to the next country and prepare immediately for the next race or do they have any leisure time or where they can go home and spend time with their family, except the break before the Belgian GP?

It's all about POV, and in mine, they're in constant leisure time. Funny you mention the nine months, so a child can be conceived in Australia and born in Brazil.

I know drivers do a lot of PR and simulator work between races. They probably get the odd few days at home here and there though.

It's what he likes doing in his time off instead of that bike/swim/run nonsense.

Surely they get tired flying back and fourth. but they are trained athletes , they maximize their time so none is wasted. Im sure their managers plan everything out and than say have an allowance day to do whatever they want. The back to back weekend races got to be the toughest.

Well, if you think about it, they're being paid millions to do the thing that they love....I'd consider driving an F1 car "leisure time"...
