It may be a rumour but there's not often smoke without fire. Why is heikii tweeting that he seess no problem with Hamilton and will not attend the meeting, if there is no such meeting?
The minnows cant cope with hamilton, just like they couldnt cope with Senna, he had the same nonsense. Well when the crying's all over guess who'll be remembered?

I didn't say there was no such meeting, I said it was just a rumour (which has not been confirmed by anyone in the know) and that no driver had been mentioned in connection with it yet.

Hamilton will be remembered but not as a top notch driver, but as the stupid fool that crashes into people. At the end of this year, everyone will be cheering Vettel!

Once again, you think you represent the entire F1 fanbase opinion... And again let me remind you, you're practically a nobody. You can think what you want about Hamilton but that's only YOUR opinion and not everybodys. :)

Maybe Obama is being used as a metaphor for a huge let-down?

Look on the bright side - at least they wrote b instead of s. :hehe:

Bit over of an over the top comparision.

If you are familiar with American politics.. let me put it like this:

Obama is to Republicans what Hamilton is to the people associated with the FIA.

unless Andrews last name is Nostradamus :hehe:

Im pretty sure Hamilton, (given the career is still going and thus the story incomplete but anyways) will be remembered for one of the best Rookie seasons of a driver in history, pitted up against the reigning 2x champion. Fighting tooth and nail with Ferrari drivers in his first and second season. Getting the WDC in his second.

Vettel will be remembered and the champion who didn't know what a barber was.

You in your glass house again? You know there is a function to use where you can ignore my comments bottom they seem to cause you a huge degree of mental anguish.

You don't speak for anyone else but yourself either but that doesn't stop you trying to push around anyone who doesn't agree with you.

No mental anguish at all, and I dont need the ignore button since its too much fun seeing a chameleon at work in this forum.
#278457
Haha.. A chameleon. I like that metaphor Hammer.

Andrew come out of the closet, we know you obsess about Hamilton every day.

Just come out of the closet, don't fight it you hate Hamilton so much you love him. You want me to give you one of his used* Japanese concubines? LOL.. it's like wearing a football jersey worn by David Becham.
#278527
Who's David Becham?

Sounds like some Jewish leader of a compound

You will never realise how hard I am trying to resist making some sort of joke that could be taken the wrong way. You fiend DD! :hehe:

Alan Jones is the driver on the stewards panel. Don't think he'll be a mamby pamby.

Lewis Hamilton will most likely fly under the radar when the drivers meet with Charlie Whiting in Suzuka despite claims of the meeting being held just to discuss the McLaren driver.

Last week, Italian publication Autosprint claimed that 'Hamilton's colleagues have announced a meeting at the Suzuka Grand Prix with FIA delegate Charlie Whiting.'

And the point of the meeting will be to discuss the "antics" of the Brit in 'Malaysia, Monaco, Montreal, Silverstone, Hungaroring, Belgium and, also, in Singapore.'

But according to Rubens Barrichello, Hamilton won't be facing a firing squad in Friday's customary pre-race briefing with race director Whiting as often there's "too much talking and not enough action".

The Williams driver said: "I don't think that's happening. I think someone has made that up.

"During the briefings we talk about everything, and then with the GPDA (Grand Prix Drivers' Association) we get together and talk a bit further.

"For example, a lot was said about what (Michael) Schumacher did to Lewis at Monza (weaving across his line), that it was unfair, but then it got to the briefing and nobody actually said anything.

"There's too much talking and not enough action, so I don't think there will be anything regarding Lewis."

Barrichello added that Hamilton, who has made headlines too often this season for the wrong reasons, is being unfairly tried by television as he is often the focal point of the cameras.

"Formula One has more overtaking nowadays, but in reality DRS has made some cars quicker in qualifying, but not as quick in racing.

"That makes the grid and you have more overtaking from this. He (Hamilton) has been caught more there - but then he has been the one who has done more overtaking than some of the others.

"I'm not saying everything is okay, but as far as I'm concerned it would be too unfair to pinpoint this or that.

"If the camera was looking at 13th and 14th, for example, it would amaze you what is happening there.

"Sometimes we get to the briefing and say to Charlie 'I tried to overtake this guy but he just blocked me', but he didn't see it.

"It's just because he (Hamilton) is on TV, and he is a guy who can get to the top and win a race."

And as for reports that Ferrari race engineer Rob Smedley to Felipe Massa to "destroy" Hamilton's race in Singapore, Barrichello reckons too much as be made of his comment.

"I understand that as, stay in front of him for you to have a better race, more than to ruin somebody. In Brazil it was madness. The translation got to the point where it looks as if Massa is a criminal.

"I haven't worked with Rob, and I don't know what his intentions were when he said that, but he is such a funny guy.

"You can close your eyes and hear that whatever he said to Felipe is a sense of him saying 'Do that boy'. I can't see something bad coming out Rob."

I don't mean to gloat but that's what I said :hehe:

Wow, I'm amazed that this meeting isn't happening, that'll learn me to not believe everything I read!:hehe:

Hamilton has been made a scapegoat this season since his outburst in Monaco in my opinion, I have seen incidents that were just as bad go unpunished!
